I’ve been neglecting doing these, even though I’ve only got three, now two, left. Just Culinarian and Alchemist left to go!
HW WAR Relics
I was feeling a little wistful about the new relics, so I decided to work on some of the older ones that I still haven’t completed.
I’ve got several Anima relics under my belt already, but not all of them. The biggest reason is because I like to do double duty on these relics where I can, and since the Resistance weapons require items farmed form HW Fates, I’ve been using Fates to light farm. I do know that technically, it’s the least efficient way to Light Grind for these, but since I have to do them for the ShB relics anyway, it technically makes it more efficient overall!
I also like to use Wondrous Tails for light farming when relevant duties pop up, so I was doing those as well, and managed to finish the farming on my WAR Axe!
Of course, I did the last stage as well, which I like to call the Victory Lap, where you have to go an do specific duties to finish up the grind. Say hello to Minos Lux!
I’m not the biggest fan of this axe, as I think Zel having an axe bigger than her entire body is absolutely hilarious, but it’s still very pretty, especially if you like more subdued weapons, but still want the shiny particles.
Leves from the vine
The saga of shoving ever more tea at Fourchenault continues, as crafting thousands of cups of tea takes ages. I can’t just quick synth them, so I have to sit there and hit my macros every 45 second. I usually do this while either watching youtube, writing something in the background, or even while waiting for rare nodes to pop.
In fact, my current haunt while I do all of this is Mor Dhona. I craft until one of the Cluster nodes pops, do some other stuff like watching my shows, rinse and repeat.
I have this odd project that i’ve been doing for some time. The FC chests let you store crystals, so just for funzies, I’ve been filling up the FC chest’s stores. I think it’s mostly only me and Wren that use them, since we’re the only ones that craft (don’t think Zeb is that interested in crafting, and Mag refuses to).
New Ranged Glam
I based this outfit around the Bluebird’s Nest Bow, because I love it so much.
I have a long history with the bluebird minion in this game. I originally got mine back in ARR, when they were still very pricey and rare, and it was a gift from a friend. As you can guess by my name, I’ve got a fondness for birds, and for a while, my discord icon was even a cute little blue bird. So, since I was the bird girl in our guild, aforementioned friend decided to gift me the little birdie. It has been a few years since I’ve had it as my main minion, but it still holds a special place in my heart. I’ve even tried to do a few contests to win those bluebird earrings, but no luck. Especially now that it seems all of the contests and raffles are done over Twitter rather than on the official forums.
When I saw that the raid weapon for bard was the bluebird bow from one of the weapon design contests, I knew I needed it.
However, my old ranged glam didn’t really suit the colors or naturey theme. After all, my previous outfit was based around the Ifrit Jacket. So I decided it was time for something new!
I should really make a little glamour catalogue on here, to be honest.
