Week 3 - November 28-December 4, 2023

I’ve been mostly taking it kinda easy this week, with a hectic day here or there. Been trying to focus more on offline things.

Fall guys

Spent a little bit of time Falling with some Guys. Not much time though because lag has been absolutely horrible this week. But I did manage to get the Pegwin pet and the last of the framers kits.

On to the Outfit!

Been helping out with leveling, getting that sweet insta-que for friends like I do. Been some good and some questionable, but overall hasn’t been particularly soul crushing.

Did you know that as of right now, Patch 6.5, with enough DPS you can just outright skip the scales? Happened to us on our weekly coin run!

To be frank, the daily roulettes and weekly tome capping that endgame revolves around are the primary reason I set this up as a weekly thing rather than daily. So far it’s been manageable!

Mount Farming with Mag

So one day, I come home from errands, sit down to check Discord, and see that my FC mate has just announced that he got his Danger Noodle mount, which I could only guess was Alte Roite, which drops from Omega savage raids. I, of course, started logging on as fast as my computer and typos would let me.

I manage to get in to their PF party, and it seems that now they’re farming Omega. Cool! I don’t know this fight at all.

Hooo boy. Even with 8 level 90s unsynced this space invader was one tough customer. By the Twelve. Apparently the unsynced meta is for all 4 DPS to hop off the platform as it begins its Hello World mechanic, leaving just the tanks and healers, and after it resolves, they pick the DPS back up and finish up the fight. Eventually, we got it down to a decent rhythm, but it took me forever to realize what was going on.

Finally, I was the last to get my Big Bad Beetle Borg…I mean Omega mount.

The group then disbanded, all of them with their mounts. But Mag, being the absolute bro that he is, hopped back on party finder, got us another party, determined to get me my own snake and tiny plane. And because we practice good party finder farming etiquette in this Free Company, we made sure that everyone else also had their danger noodles and vroom-vroom planes.

AKA, Other stuff that doesn’t really get its own header or whatever.

No tool progress, and completely forgot about PVP. Whoops! I have until Dawntrail drops so I’m not really worried.

Forgot about my island too, mostly, at least for getting cowries. I set up all the stuff for my Felicitous Favors and got some tickets. Don’t have the inventory space to open the coffers though.
