Zel crafting in her apartment

Another chill week!

I’ve been spending time gathering so I could restock my Levequest turn-ins, as I’ve already run out of Tsai tou vonou again!

Zel gathering Sideritis leaves in Elpis.

I love gathering, to be honest. It’s nice and relaxing, and I love kicking back and watching some youtube videos on the side while I run around clicking.

I got into doing the leves for money near the end of Shadowbringers, back when the Coffee Biscuit boom was going on, and have continued doing it for Endwalker with Carrot nibbles and Tsai you vonou, which isn’t as big of a moneymaker as the pre-nerf Coffee biscuits, but still worth setting aside some time for, in my opinion.

I also just love the leve descriptions for these two in particular. I get to bully Fourchenault while also being paid for it by his own wife. Enjoy your 18 cups of tea a day, jerk. Hope it gives you the runs.

Dungeon time!

And of course, Naoh, who said she was going to level her black mage, instead immediately suggests Expert roulette. Not that I mind, we work pretty well together as a healer/tank combo, as long as I’m able to call out some of the mechanics for them for some stuff. Since they’re on controller, it’s not as easy to pan around to see all the stuff going on.

Zel and Naoh, both warriors, fighting Tsukuyomi EX

We also tackled Tsukuyomi EX, aiming for a mount for Naoh and some kimono remnants if we were lucky. We both went in as warrior, which is easily the most survivable class in the game at the moment due to the sheer mind boggling amount of self healing they get now, which really annoys the heck out of Naoh. They’re a dark knight main, and the fact that not only does warrior get a better version of Living dead with Bloodwhetting, they get to press it every 25 seconds, while LD has a 5 minute cooldown due to being their invuln. I swear, that class gets no love from the devs but somehow there are still some diehard fans that just play through the enormous amounts of suck.

Anyway, we did really well until we got to the Supreme Selenomancy phase, where we of course kept dying to the mechanics. We probably should have looked at a guide first to refresh our memories, since neither of us remembered how to do the meteors mechanic. After about half a dozen wipes, I searched youtube for answers, figured out what we were doing wrong, and gave it another go. We got one remnant, but no dog. Despite only having one clear, we were bother drained and decided to call it a night.

Another Cat?!

I was surprised to see Mag log in and see that he’s not a lizard anymore!

A cropped screenshot of Magris as a miqo'te

He mentioned being a miqo’te in the past, and a couple of week ago he was talking about maybe using a fantasia, but wasn’t sure what race he was going with. Seems he went back to miqo, which is what he was before he was an Au Ra (which was way before I met my FC).

Zeb of course grabbed us for a run of Thaleia, which I’ve been neglecting to run. Honestly, my gear on white mage is more than good enough, and warrior is all geared up too.

Anyway, luck of the cat be upon us! We got some good loot out of this run!

Warm Hands, Warm Hearts

This year’s valentione’s emote was just too cute, I had to get it for my alts. Have some hearts from Saki’a!

See you next time!
